The Continental Supersports is an ultra-high-performance variant of the Continental GT, offered in limited production from 2009-2011, and at the time the most powerful Bentley ever produced.
Emerging from an internal 'skunkworks' what-if development proposition, the Supersports gained additional power to 621 bhp (800Nm peak torque) and a 110kg weight saving over the GT Speed. Interior experience was transformed by rear seat deletion and adoption of the then-current Bugatti Veyron carbon sport seats.
Key modifications included 50mm wider rear track, 15mm lower ride height, 60:40 rear-biased 4wd torque split, uprated ZF transmission, uprated engine management, carbon ceramic brakes, lightweight 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Additional cooling was managed by a revised frontal treatment with larger air ducts and twin bonnet vents. Similarly, the rear coachwork was redesigned to accommodate the wider track and revised airflow, including a reprofiled auto-retractable carbon spoiler.
