Seller's Comment
Our compact SUV is a fantastic all-rounder, comfortable for long trips but not too large to squeeze in and out of any tight spaces. With the latest technology and safety features, it has all the extras that you want for an enjoyable travel experience.
The KONA comes with a bolder design, more powertrains options including hybrid, significantly more space, and a host of newly available features like a power smart tailgate, twin 12.3 digital displays, and surround view monitor.
This model has been put to the test by New Zealands most successful rally champion and KONA EV rally driver, Hayden Paddon, and has received his Practically unbeatable stamp of approval. Now its time for you to do the same.
The Kona boasts smart cruise control on all models, and its lane-keeping assistant kicks in if you stray too far outside of the lines but doesnt over-do it. The cabin is exceptionally practical and the driving position offering lots of adjustability so you can get a good view of the road regardless of your size. Storage is ample, with a long area between the passengers to store bits and bobs, as well as being home to the retractable cupholders, so you can have more space when you dont need to keep a cup secure. The armrest cubby hole is usefully large, theres an area for your phone beneath the dashboard, and the door bins are big.
Because of all that space its really easy to fit a child seat inside without having to move the seats in front forward. And to make things even better the doors open to around 90 degrees, making access a breeze. Theres more good news in the boot: the capacity is 466 litres, which makes the Kona one of the most spacious small SUVs you can buy. Making a further case for the Konas practical boot is the fact that its also really easy to get things in and out, because the bumper sits quite low and theres no lip to slide items over. You also get loads of space under the floor if you want to keep things out of sight or just need to maximise capacity.
